Over the last 5 years dance artists MCKAY HOUSE and UTAM MOSES have created film works and live performances that transform the temporal into the metaphysical, using somatic practices, site specific installations, contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation as vehicles for their explorations. Their work thematically centers on different forms of intimacy, between people and the spaces they inhabit and leave behind. The collaboration is a long distance one, with McKay based in Nashville, TN and Utam based in Bloomington, IN.

IRINA KHOKHLOVA is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in New York City. She makes documentaries, branded content, fashion, dance and narrative films. Now developing her first feature narrative screenplay. Her work was featured on BBC, VICE, TOPIC, Dance on Camera Film Festival, Film Society at Lincoln Center, San Fransisco International Dance Film Festival and other platforms.

RIZOMA LABORATORIO ESCENICO is an interdisciplinary project that develops performing arts and production, screendance and movement workshops. Just like the transmutable roots of a rhizome, this project is transformed when connecting with other disciplines. Our focus and mission is to innovate in the creation of performing arts and movement projects through creative processes that invite to play, to be curios and the linking of different artistic expressions in order to provide sensitive experiences for our audience. We belive that the body is an excuse for everything we do, say or think.

HANNAH WEINMASTER graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. As a dancer, Hannah has performed works by choreographers such as Martha Graham, Shannon Gillen, Peter Chu, Brandon Coleman, Chelsea Thedinga, and Paul Taylor.
