NOELLE KAYSER x OPEN SPACE DANCE

NOELLE KAYSER is a choreographer and rehearsal director for dance and opera. She is the resident choreographer for Open Space, a Whim W’him Choreographic Shindig winner, a BalletX Choreographic Fellow, and a Jacob’s Pillow Ann & Westin Hicks Choreography Fellow. Noelle has served as a guest ballet mistress at the Lyric Opera, is the Artistic Liaison for South Chicago Dance Theatre, and was named one of NewCity Magazines, “The 50 People Who Really Perform for Chicago”. As an actor, Noelle is a narrator for Audible.com and has performed in stage productions at the Goodman and Alliance Theatre among others.

"dust" is a dance film that explores themes of legacy and mortality in the cycle of intergenerational caregiving. It pays tribute to the compassion, reciprocity, and unconditional love present as we guide one another into and out of this life. It depicts the experience of caring for my father as he died of cancer.
