HANNAH STRANEY (she/her), born and raised in New York, is a freelance dancer, singer, director, and arts programmer. She earned a BFA in Dance Performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance and has received additional training from TNUA in Taipei, Taiwan. Upon graduating Hannah toured nationally with Dirty Dancing, and was then invited to join Company XIV, where she spent four years as a singer, dancer, and actor. Hannah served as the associate choreographer for NYC’s immersive experience, ‘The Stranger’, assisting Tislarm Bouie, and originating a role in the show. She frequently works with the Merce Cunningham trust. Currently, Hannah is on David Byrne’s “Who is The Sky World” Tour and is working with Skyla Schreter Dance, Kimberly Bartosik, Liz Gerring and Cornfield Dance. She is a producer at Retrograde Studios, in Brooklyn, NY.
